It was the winter of 1991. I had recently moved to a small southern Colorado town (which had no stamping supplies ~ yikes ). I had a supportive husband, an artistic 10 year old, Matt, and Keith who had just turned 1 year old. I was short on both adult contact and creative inspiration. What else could I do but start a rubber art stamp business ?!

Well, Matt is near grown. The little guy Keith is flourishing in this small town and its schools. And Stamp of Excellence, inc.? Boy has the stamp business matured and grown up as well ! We have made a lot of progress and changes over the years, but our basic concept has never altered. That is from the very beginning we have always known that the only reason we get to come to work and have so much fun each day is because of you, our customer ! Your needs, interest, and support. With out you, our loyal clientele, Stamp of Excellence, inc. would cease to exist and we are continually aware of this fact. I feel this is what keeps us personal with each of you, and on our toes at all times.

After 8 years in this line of work I can honestly tell you that the stamp business is the warmest and most supportive industry you could imagine. I attribute this to the fact that for most of us we are privileged to be doing creative work we love for a living. Stamping was a daily way of life for Matt and me anyway. Turning it into a business was just the next logical step.

Please know that more than anything we look forward to hearing from each of you. Your imput, to a large degree, is what has shaped our path over the years. The designs you desire, the supplies you seek, are our tools for growth.
